Below you will find a short list of some common questions regarding Chandler Pet Clinic.

  • Do I need an appointment to see the Doctor?

Yes, we request that appointments be made in advance for Veterinary visits, boarding and grooming.

 

  • Can I drop my pet off in the morning on my way to work and have the Doctor examine him/her during the day?

Yes, however, there is an additional boarding fee for keeping your pet for the day.

 

  • What are the requirements for boarding a dog?

Dogs must be current on all vaccinations including Distemper/Parvo, Rabies and Bordatella.

 

  • What are the requirements for boarding a cat?

Cats must be current on all vaccinations.  This includes Distemper, Rabies and Feline Leukemia.

 

  • Can I bring in the vaccine record when I bring in my pet for boarding?

No - Proof of vaccination history must be brought to the clinic before a reservation can be made.

 

  • My pet just needs a vaccination.  Does he/she need an examination?

Yes!  The Arizona State Veterinary Medical Examining Board - Arizona Revised Statutes page 38(c) states: "A veterinarian shall dispense only to the animal's owner or person responsible for the animal he is treating and only for conditions being treated by that veterinarian.  The veterinarian shall supervise the dispensing process."  In this sub-section, "supervision" means that a veterinarian makes the determination as to the legitimacy or the advisability of the drugs or devices to be dispensed.

 

  • Can I bring in my pet's own food while they're boarding?

Yes.

 

  • Can I pick up my pet from boarding on Sundays and holidays?

No.  Although we do have kennel staff here to care for the animals, kennel staff are not authorized to release pets outside normal clinic hours.

 

  • Does Chandler Pet Clinic offer a payment plan?

No, however, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and personal checks with appropriate identification.
